General Festival Information  

A World Symposium and Festival will be held in the Theater Center of the San Leandro Public Library, located in downtown San Leandro (south of Oakland) at 300 Estudillo Avenue. The Theater entrance is on Estudillo Avenue.  


Directions/Transportation to the San Leandro Library  

From Highway 880: Take Davis Street East Exit, follow Davis street to East 14th Street. Davis Street changes its name to Callan, and the library is on the right about one block after East 14th Street. The San Leandro Library’s theater entrance is on Estudillo Avenue (street parallel to Callan).  

From Highway 580: Take Estudillo Avenue Exit, turn west onto Estudillo Avenue, then go about 8 blocks and you will see the San Leandro Library on the right.  

BART: Exit at the San Leandro BART Station. From here walk north to Davis Street , then walk east on Davis Street to the library (about a 10 minute walk). You can also walk directly east on Estuillo Aveune West a few blocks, then through the shopping center to Estudillo Avenue. The San Leandro Library is just across East 14th Street.  

Parking: there is a 2 hour parking limit in the San Leandro Library’s parking lot. There is plenty of free, unlimited street parking around the library on the residential streets.
