8th Southern California Indian Storytelling Festival

On Saturday, March 17, 2007 join us for a special cultural presentation by Native California Indian storytellers at the 8th Southern California Indian Storytelling Festival.
Sponsored in partnership with the Agua Caliente Cultural Museum, the event features Native storytellers from California with storytelling performances and presentations on indigenous oral traditions, music and language.
The festival
will be held will be held at the Pavilion Auditorium in Sunrise Park located in Palm Springs, California on Saturday, March 17th from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Storytelling performances are recommended for adults and children ages 8 and up.
Admission is free of charge, but suggested donations are:
General $10,
Elders/Children $6
The Festival is made possible by funding from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Agua Caliente Cultural Museum, the California Indian Storytelling Association and audience donations.
