2009 Native Voices Across the Pacific: Indigenous Storytellers Gathering
The Indigenous Storytellers Gathering 2009 will be a long range effort to gather storytellers from across the Pacific and the Pacific coast of North America.
Initial planning steps will begin in communities throughout the Pacific and the Pacific coast of North America. We hope to include New Zealand, Tahiti, Hawaii, Samoa, Alaska , Washington, Oregon, and California.
The Conference will gather tellers together with the goal of enlivening and perpetuating the connections and traditions of Indigenous storytellers throughout the region. More information will be posted as the conference plans develop.
